APRIL 4, 2014

Tonight was Betty and my 50th wedding anniversary, we were married 4-4-1964, the miracle is that she put up with me for all of those years. We were prepared to go to the track and race and celebrate later, but the rain gods made it possible to celebrate tonight. So we went for a fantastic dinner at Drago's restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. we will be ready for the next race.

Connelly Dubuisson - Driver

Connelly is currently a sophmore at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, LA. His other interests include Saints football and fishing.

His first race was June 20, '09, with the highlight of the season coming in the last race of the year when Connelly made a 3 wide pass in turn 3 to go from 5th to 3rd which is where he finished.

In the 2010 season Connelly won the Sunny South Raceway track championship in the Bandeloro Division. His record includes 8 first place finishes, and 3 seconds out of 14 races.

In 2011 he moved up to the Legend Division in the Young Lions class. We brought him along slowly and by the end of the season he began to show some results. In his first year of Legends racing he managed to capture third place in the Sunny South Raceway points despite missing two races.

For 2012 we have totally gone through the car, put a brand new engine in it and thus far has had moderate success with one win 3 seconds and 3 third place finishes. Connelly is curently in third place in the track points with three races to go.
